Romain d'Alverny is a composer based in Nantes, France, exploring a wide musical spectrum ranging from electronic and ambient to contemporary classical music.
A musician since adolescence, fascinated by how music and its sonic textures can transform an atmosphere, a scene, an image, he quickly began using machines and computers in addition to the piano.
After engineering studies, he contributed to the computer industry, helping machines communicate with humans, and vice versa. From 2022, he returned to music and trained at Trempo in 2023, to deepen his skills in musical writing, performance, collaboration, and production.
He creates for both classical instruments and electronic media, and is developing his work in music for image and stage, as well as in supporting musicians in their sonic research.
